Are these joystick and button set good for getting started
« on: November 17, 2018, 07:47:58 pm »
Whats up everybody I'm just starting to build my own arcade and i was seeing if this set was good to use. I didn't want to get too fancy and wanted the button set to be fairly simple. Thanks

These are somewhat better.

In either case the buttons are convex instead of concave, so if you grew up the the US they just aren't going to feel right imho.

They work. But they feel flimsy. I upgraded to better sticks (and buttons) and don't regret. In the end I paid double...

Pre made sets are always sub par quality.

Order the bits you want individually they will be better quality overall.

Look at Happ or IL stuff if you are working to a budget.

Where can I find those at?

Depends where in the world you live really.

In the UK I use AWUK (arcade world UK).

In the states I know of Groovy Game Gear but do a google search I am sure you will find what you need :)

Just Google them. Google will probably provide you with stores near you first.
