Non-interactive start up
« on: November 04, 2018, 09:11:11 am »
Hey guys. I just started a new Megatouch ion project and when it boots it hangs at entering noninteractive startup. I've tried different hard drives, memory, and I O boards. And I still have the same issue any ideas? Is this bios related? I did log into the BIOS at startup and everything seems to be set to normal default. Motherboard is Asus A7N8X-LA

Looks like its hanging right before the sensor and hardware checks. If i had to guess faulty Motherboard. Check to see if there is any capacitors that are swelling.

"Cannot enable port 1, maybe the usb cable is bad"

Never seen that, but I'm guessing something connected to the motherboard or the mobo itself is holding it up.

I worked on it last night and believe it or not it was the USB cable. I swapped it out and it booted right up. Just need to figure some issues out with the io board and I should be all set! thank you guys for all the help I really do appreciate it.
