Crt_emudriver green screen when playing videos/movies
NiggelMyNiggel:
When I try to watch a movie with my windows 10 pc (with crt_emudriver installed) I get a green screen. I have tried multiple video players. I read that this is a known issue from the crt_emudriver website. Does anyone know a work around for this.
Playing all these licensed arcade games (Robocop, aliens, Willow etc) got me hankering for some 80's sci fi flicks.

Post up in the GroovyMAME forum instead, you'll get more attention from the right people :)
Calamity:
What version of CRT Emudriver? What card?
NiggelMyNiggel:
I have a ati 5450 card and I am using: crt_emudriver_&_tools_2.0_beta_13_12.6_W.7.8.10-64
I don't have GroovyMame, I'm using Retroarch.

Edit: Didn't notice Calamity was replying to you, probably disregard me and my old foolish ways, he's knows whats up.
This is almost always an issue with ATI Cards and Mpeg video (especially with crt emudriver). you have to disable "Hardware Acceleration" in what ever video player you are using. I'd suggest VLC Player as it seems to work with more formats automatically and has a ton of configurable options. K-Lite Codec Pack is also usually a good thing to grab as it adds even more compatibility with different video formats. If you want to use something that requires flash video playback like Youtube or even Hyperspin you pretty much have to install Mozilla Firefox, go into the options and uncheck "Use hardware acceleration when available" there as well. From what I've read this has a global effect on flash playback of mpeg and should make mpeg videos in Hyperspin work as well since its based in flash.
