I enjoyed it. I'm doing my part to pass on the love of classic gaming to my nephews and nieces, who are often upset and then addicted to the hard gameplay, limited retries and concept of high scores. Altered beast, being packed in with the Genesis, is one that many people have played and it's a good one to get people hooked on your channel with. For 30 years, I've been unable to decide if I actually like this game. Playing the dragon on every level with the Genesis cheat code was fun as hell, though. |

I like it, but I liked it a hell of a lot more when I was a kid and a character turning to a monster, in all it's 16bit glory, blew my mind. Gameplay is pretty basic.... transformations and bosses are cool though. |
