Demulshooter with Mamewah (or similar command based frontend)
« on: September 27, 2018, 06:08:12 am »
Hi guys,

I'm trying to get Demulshooter running with my old Mamewah. At the moment I'm testing with Model 2 and everything works as it should outside of Mamewah. With Maemwah, usually if I want to run a program before I will add it to the pre_emulator_app_commandlines section. In this case I add it to a specific game.ini so it only works for that game (in this example I've used vcop). So my code I've put in is as follows;

pre_emulator_app_commandlines                                 C:\DEMULSHOOTER\DemulSHooter.exe -target=model2 -rom=vcop
emulator_commandline                                        C:\DEMUL\EMULATOR.exe "[rompath]\[name].[romext]"{nodosbox}{nosafelaunch}
post_emulator_app_commandlines

The problem is Mamewah crashes if I attempt to load virtua cop, so I'm wondering if there's something wrong with how I add my standard Demulshooter command line (which is exactly how I would type it in cmd) to the mamewah.ini. If I remove pre emulator part the emulator runs as it should, just without the Demulshooter configuration obviously. Anyone have any ideas?

Given the hefty amount of replies I'm not sure that anyone cares, but went for a batch file in the end to sort it!

Yeah no idea... I just wanted to comment that you have one of the best user names ever.

That is all.
