Silly GM no-nag question
« on: September 19, 2018, 11:34:48 am »
I just updated my Groovymame to .201 no nag that someone  compiled , and I still see nag screens on some games . My old .161 version had the option in the mame.ini to disable or enable . Is there a  Toggle I don’t see to enable ? Thanks

Are you referring to the game info screens?  They can be disabled in mame.ini...

Ah ha. That did it. Does that mean If I don't have a no nag version of Mame/GM and I have that 1 enabled it will still show nag screens?

That setting specifically skips the game info screens.  It works in official versions of MAME.

It should be completely independent from the so-called "nag" screens but I guess it depends on your custom build does.
