2 wiimotes sega model 2 shooters ?

Hi ,

Is there no way to get 2 wiimotes running for sega model 2 .

Setup is dolphinbar in mode 4 . But i can only get 1 working with touchmote . I tried Troubleshooter 2, and this don's seem to work ? Or i do something wrong .
Is troubleshooter not only for lightguns (aimtrack,..)
I was thinking first you could control the pointer with the xbox 360 controller , but you can't even maps the pointer .

If there is any solutions please

Have you enabled gun 2 in the ini file?

Mode 4 is data only mode.  In other words it doesn't show up as a joystick or a mouse, which is necessary to use TS2.  You are going to need an intermediate program to read the data and have it converted to a joystick or mouse.

Thx for the reply . About the enable 2 mice in the ini i read about it yesterday. So this i will test this evening.

About the program , you mean for example touchmote . With this program i can map one mouse. For the pointer i use then mouse pointer . But what with the second wiimote?
Mode 4 on the dolphinbar is jostick if i don't mistake.

 here is my configuration for model 2.
the TWO touchmote is configured as TWO joystick and below you can find the emulator.ini configuration
with demulshooter it works very well and is very precise aiming, some games need a calibration of the guns through test mode in the game but only 2 or 3 ...
have fun and if you need clarification please ask  ;)

I'm not familiar with touchmote, sorry. 

Make sure you are using the correct version of the model 2 emulator... the latest version does NOT work with TS2.  Also make sure you have done the install procedure ect.

Ok guys , i am flipping here.
Yesterday again all the evening to get this to work pfff.

My setup dolphinbar set to mode 4. With 2 real wiimotes.
Dolphin emulator works perfect.

Wireless xbox 360 controller reciever . Works with all my real xbox 360 controllers. Never had any problems with this.

In first place. When i start sega model 2 with for example hotd.
And without touchmote or so.
Is it not that i should be able to move the pointer with the left stick? Because this don't do anything. Only the buttons works.

So with touchmote when i map ir to left stick offcourse it don't work.
When i start up model 2 emulator it start up touchmote with model 2 profile i chance to full screen . No movement. When i then press esc, i get little screen and game still running i don't see the touchmote pointers. When i then keeping pressing the home button i can choose between the touchmote profiles. There i chose default profile. Boom i have my to seperate pointers. And this works perfect. Why it don't sync with the pointers from the game i don't .
I should be able to move the pointers at least with the default profile i game . It just don't sync wit the game.
I must find the solution why the left stick don't work?
Don't know it anymore.

Never tried with anythi g other than aim traks so dunno sorry!

If you are still using troubleshooter 2, you do not setup controls within the games... you configure things within ts2 as it overrides the game controls and "fixes" them.  That's kind of the point. As a matter of fact, setting things up within the games in model 2 can cause issues.  TS2 fully supports 360 gamepads... that's what I tested it with when I developed the app.  I think going back and re-reading the instructions might do some good.   I wish I could help more, but I'm currently on another build that I haven't released yet and it's completely overhauled, so things don't work the same way anymore.

For me after searching a solution its impossible with 2 wiimotes and a dolphinbar . Together with touchmote. 1 wiimote works perfect. But 2 wiimotes???
I tried everything.

I give up. Untill somebody can confirm it works for him with the same setup.

Better to buy 2 aimtraks

I was also thinking , what if i have 2 dolphinbars. But i fon't if this will work??

it's possible. i play all model 2 two players gun games with 2 wiimotes, my solution is touchmote both wiimote sets to joy 360 and demulshooter. works perfect

Oké , i have 2 dolphinbars now . Yesterday evening i was trying some things .

In mode 2  i see my 2 pointers in windows and and they work perfect . But once i start up model 2 with for example vcop2 , ... The crosshairs don't move .
settings in ini are
Xinput 1
userawinput 1
rawdev P1 0
rawdev P2 1

I tried also demulshooter . And i could already get 1 wiimote to work . I need to check this further .
Also do you need touchmote together with demulshooter ?
And my last question , Sega Model 2 is there a way to start up demulshooter automatic when i launch Vcop2 ?

Halleluja , got it to work , but i have some questions

2 dolphinbars in mode 2 together with demulshooter works .
Was it not that A on the wiimote was shooting and B reload ? Didn't test shooting yet . But i remember from some years ago that i was also searching this and gave up .

1 dolphinbar with touchmote and demulshooter 2 wiimotes  . works
one problem when i connect 2 wiimotes and and 2 xbox controllers . It will see the xbox controllers in position 3 and 4 . You know the light on the controller . Offcourse thats a problem in hyperspin.
When i exit a sega model 2 shooting game . Then the xbox controller will not response anymore in hyperspin . I must turn off the dolphnbar
Or i must first connect the xbox controllers before turning on the wiimotes . Will test this tommorrow .

When you did 1 dolphinbar with touchmote and demulshooter with 2 wiimotes, was the dolphin bar set to mode 3 or 4? Also what does your model 2 cfg file look like?

And lastly, how is it going with the 2 dolphinbars in mode 2 together with demulshooter? Does is works pretty good?
