Prep for GameOnGrafix artwork???
« on: September 27, 2018, 11:34:28 pm »
Hello, realized I need to hurry up and get my cabinet ready for artwork before it gets to cold to paint/primer. I'm not finished with my actual art yet but I'm going to have it printed by GameOnGrafix.
Couple questions though.
I'm using MDF for my cabinet.
I think I understand how to prep for the artwork but please put my mind at eas.
1. fill any holes or whatever with wood filler.
2. sand the whole cabinet smooth - what grit???
3. paint the whole cabinet - I saw black rustoleum spray can recommended somewhere.
4.sand again- what grit???
5. Clean it really good.
That's it right? Ready for the artwork?

Also, any recommendations on what selections look best for a cabinet or is it all personal opinion?
Luster/satin laminate or glossy laminate?
Premium adhesive backed vinyl or 3m air egress adhesive vinyl?
I think that's it.

Anything else I need to know about ordering, prepping for, or installing vinyl?

Thank you
