Giving a Showcase a new body... Or, a coffin to bury myself!
« on: September 15, 2018, 01:25:58 pm »
Recently came into a 33" showcase cab that is in need of some love. While most would suggest using the Showcase can and go with a 4 player setup. Makes sense real estate wise.

Also wondering though - has anyone recased or reimagined a large monitor Showcase cab before? I have seen Malenko made a 32" vert in an old Midway cab and another did a 31" horizontal in a home made cab, but I guess not many like huge CRTs and oversized cabs. They're difficult.

So am I though, and can't help but wonder what I can do with a 33" monitor for a horizontal 4 player that isn't a Showcase. Any advice or shared tips would be appreciated. Thanks
