Yeah, well, good luck finding a CRT that small.  :P

finding a CRT screen that small isn't the problem.
It's the foot of CRT that extends behind it.

Here is a decent review of the 1/6 replicade centipede.

NOTE : it is close, but not quite as realistic as the arcade, the buttons aren't quite in the right place, etc etc.

you would think they would get the details right for the price, but oh well..

looks like the replicade units have
a battery charging defect that they
can't fix...

oops.

Well they are going to re-engineer their tempest cabinets, and it
will affect SF2 also.

The more I see of this the more I think it would be a neat little device to keep in the office or something as more of a conversation piece and not something people would actually play.  Pricey though.

ok, another 1/4 scale review, scaling brought up at 10min mark:

this update from the company:
===============================
Numskull Designs

We're looking at solutions to this for the final release at the moment (we've already made several improvements and tweaks since this prototype).

We're not making much profit on it as it is (it really is made of high quality materials!) but we're working hard to make it as amazing as possible!

This is still an early version - it's definitely something we're looking at for the final release version.

We've already made several important tweaks since this version, including improved sound, better volume control, a more authentic metal back, a battery LED display, etc.

And it's fixed now:

! No longer available

Problem is it's still 15k for the extra, and 5 men to start,
which have never been defaults.

don't tell madlittlepixel about it, he will have a heart attack, and post 10 videos claiming the company
is a fraud and a failure, and that there stuff is junk. geez.

I was having same issue in Retropie using a 10" screen.  I had to play with the settings and resolution output to get it to look smooth.  It was a pain but the double lines were really annoying.  Glad they are fixing this.
