Pot moving the wrong direction on screen
« on: August 04, 2018, 02:51:11 pm »
I am working on a ride on sega hang on mame cabinet running hyperspin. I have the pot for left/right wired to an apac. Everything registers correctly in joy to key. No matter what I do, I can’t seem to get the motorcycle to move the correct direction in game play. When I lean right it goes left etc. I have tried flipping the mapping in joy to key but it does the same thing. The game I am trying in mame is super hang on. I have the paddle analog set to x axis with nothing on the increase and decrease. Any ideas?

Go into the analog settings in mame and invert the axis.

Why are you using Joy to Key?

Posting keys would cancel out the benefit of having analog controls.
The APAC should work directly with MAME.
