well im not knockin your coin door prices or whatever, its just 70$ seems like a lot for something that doesnt impact the gaming experience at all really. but for those people who want everything perfect , good for them. Just my opinion, didnt mean to sound like a flame

Thats quite all right, I didn't take offense.  I was just trying to explain that for a new door, it's not a bad price.  I don't expect them to fly off the shelves at that price, but I figure I'll sell them eventually.

As far as it impacting the gaming experience, there has been plenty discussion on this forum to that subject, and you either love them or don't.  I personally think it just adds to the realism and coolness factor and if they weren't so damn expensive, I think they would be on every custom cabinet or at least should be :)

I see where you are coming from Seph but you have got to figure people spend a bunch of money on their cab to make it look like a real arcade machine.  I mean when you print out some custom sideart and a custom marque that all costs money and its definitally not cheap.  The way I look at my coindoor is a piece of semi-functional art.  While I only paid 30-40 bucks for it I also had to spend a good solid 1-2 hours stripping it and its still used and a little beat up.  But I know when my cocktail is done and people see it they are going to be like WOW thats cool and the coindoor just completes the entire look.  Also if I just wanted the gaming experience I would just bolt a cp to my desk and play there but I want the ARCADE experience and for that I'm willing to pay the extra cash for the coindoor.

A coin door really makes a cabinet.  Its an awesome piggy bank and a convenient access hatch to the insides of your cab.

A arcade cabinet just isn't a arcade cabinet without a coin door.
