New cabinet build, well sort of..
« on: July 25, 2018, 08:23:47 am »
Hi all. My initial d 5th stage finally poo’d itself recently and I am sick of spending money on second hand dedicated hardware to keep her alive. I want to emulate a bunch of games in her and have a few questions for those in the know:

Does teknoparrot support the license reader and writer via serial port?
Should I retro fit a Logitech g920 or interface into the 110v arcade force feedback
The current lcd is only 32inch at 720p. Is it worth installing a 1080p lcd or will 1366x768 be fine for Daytona 3, sr3 and the likes? I already have a twin model 2 so this will only be for the newer games.

Kind of looking for some opinions and pros and cons comparisons.

Thanks
