Well you did make a general statement of a making comment "that couldn't possibly offend anyone", then "I seriously cannot figure out why someone is getting bent over me asking for the back story." Didn't know if that was directed at me, or at pbj. Next time just reply directly at pbj if you're talking about him. Quoting works. There's no need to be indirect here. As yotsuya stated, Alpha-Tron gives them out as a tribute to the real Bob Roberts. Bob Roberts is an arcade op legend. His site has not only a lot of arcade products for sale, but a wealth of knowledge on building, restoring, maintaining and fixing arcade cabinets and electronics. If you haven't been to his site, do yourself a favour and peruse his many articles and tutorials. There's so much info there! Bob is also notorious for adding a lagniappe to your orders, sometimes it's treats, or trinkets, or in my case small tools (I once got a Pocket Wire Stripper/Crimper). But Bob's health isn't great these days, so he had to take a step back from arcade supplies and got his family to cover for him in his stead. |
