I'm hoping at least one of you dudes joins me in helping out with the Friday load in. When I went to Zapcon the last time the load in was my ticket to a weekend pass, but I ended up enjoying it because I got to meet all these people and learn something along the way. One old timer had all these old pinball machines from the days when he ran his own place. I was like some little kid hopping around him asking all these questions. He opened a few machines up for me and explained their mechanics to me. Of course I got to play quite a few machines and set some (very low) high scores, thus earning my Yots badge for that category. Can you lift heavy stuff for a few hours? Join me, get a free pass. |
