Possibly Fried Eygo Monitor
« on: June 25, 2018, 11:09:39 pm »
Hi, I have an Eygo 27" monitor in my Mame Cabinet.

Our property recently got hit by a tornado, quick loss of power, it was out for 10 days. Anyway, went to use my machine the other day and I'm not getting anything on the screen. Also, not getting any glow from the monitor neck, this leads me believe it's a power issue.

I have a multi meter and I can follow directions pretty well. Can this be fixed? What should I check first?

Thanks in advance!

you should first check the ac input monitor power, I imagine it should be 120vac- if that is present then check the chassis fuse
did you get a power surge or power fluctuation that you are aware of?

Thanks! Yeah our property got hit by a tornado and the power went out pretty violently. I will check those two things and report what I find here.
