Greetings. Please provide tips on how to reset cherry bonus iii rom CREDIT IN and OUT to its original state.

I must mention that I'm running rom through mame version 0.184.

Exit mame and delete mamedir\nvram\cb3\nvram

I followed your instruction but to no avail. The data remains the same

Are you running cb3 or a variant, and what file is in the nvram\cb3 directory now?

I'm running mame 0.184 and cb3

You stopped one directory short in your screenshots. Go into the cb3 directory and get rid of the file that's in there. Then run MAME again. It can't remember the number of bets if you've gotten rid of the nvram for the game.

Also, understand that you have to do that every time you want to zero out the data.

 I did just what you said by deleting nvram in cb3 folder but it remains the same. Not sure what else to do at this point.

The screenshot you provided is from the Set 1 version (ncb3) not the Encrypted version (cb3). That's why I asked if you were running cb3 or a variant. You'd need to delete the nvram from ncb3 if you want to zero out the Set 1 version.

I don't have one, no. I don't do much on the hardware side of things. I did see your thread on it though. Hopefully someone will be able to come up with one.
