Fiverr
« on: June 18, 2018, 10:49:33 am »
Seems like quality work: https://www.fiverr.com/sahajjoshi/design-graphics-for-arcade-cabinet
And pretty cheap, right? Full cabinet artwork for 70 dollar... I might consider this if my former colleague doesn't deliver.

Anyone experience with Fiverr?

I don't like the actual designs either, but still looks quality. And if briefed properly I should think he could make something pretty nice.

The quality of the work is actually worse than the ---smurfy--- designs.

They look pretty terrible maybe 20 minutes of work.  All the backward numbers on the players of the Dolphins cab is a little jarring.

I thought the point of fiverr was to do $5 jerbs?

I think if you added some blue lightning bolts and marble texture to his work you'd have an awesome art package.  I say go for it.

Just get SNAAKE to do your artwork. He'll do a better job than this, and he's affordable as well.

Got my artwork done by a guy on Fiverr, very happy with the results.  You have to wade through a lot of people and there are a lot of mediocre folks.  Stuffs cheap from India and China, I don’t think I’d trust a raster image from those parts of the world but vector should be fine......

That guy charges $70 for 20 minutes of work, or $210 an hour.

I charge about $100 flat rate (depends on size of jerb) and I usually get it done in about 10 hours so 10 an hour roughly. Some jobs take less time, others take more. I dont take on jobs like I used to because the art side is just a hobby and while I like to help people out; my real jerb pays a lot better. I do have like 15 years of graphic art experience but I can only do a fraction of the kind of stuff opt2not can do.

I was handing out autographed prints.  I got told, “this is cool... but no” and “you’re going to have to stop or leave.”

 :dunno

They get slipped into packages that I send to forum members now.

That's actually not the cabinet I'm building, but some random cabinet that guy found to do the mockup.

Wow, I thought you would ask way more than that. This actually is a really, really fair price!

Is the plan that I’m mailing that doll to you when you’re in the US?  I feel like we never resolved that.

Anyway, yes, I’ll give you some konkey dong.
