I feel the same way about people who use "investment" to describe every single expenditure they make.

Drake brings a sportsball t-shirt to the register:

"I'd like to invest in this gear."

Neph, you're a riot! it's easy as hell to join the cool kids. The path to being accepted into your esteemed club isn't a secret to anybody, and it's super-easy to pull off. Anybody reading this knows how to do it, and could do it effortlessly. Hard as it is to believe, not everyone chooses to wallow with humorless snowflakes.

Drake must be jealous of our cowardice and hypocrisy! That's the best lie you can tell yourselves?  I have a hard time believing even your fear-clouded faculties are willing to accept that. But by all means, don't let me stand in the way of whatever self-deception you need to make it through another day of miserable existence as Nephasth.

Anyway, continue to enjoy the troll bonding! Another round on me!

Since we are talking about word misuse, why you seem to label everyone's post as a troll? Trolling is deliberately meant to get a reaction, as in trying to get you to fly off the rail and over-react. I am pretty sure the general consensus around here is to stop acting like an internet creeper and dial it down a notch.

Pretty much right.

Go to Zapcon. Drink beer. Play games.

Go to Zapcon. Drink beer. Play games.

The beer I had with Ond and you (I forget who else went to that bar with the poor service, sorry I'm getting old) was the last beer I ever had. I honestly had a great time there and enjoyed the company more than having a myriad of free games at my disposal. My plans are full steam ahead for next year as long as I don't have a kid on the way, even then I'll still tirekick. Hopefully some of you guys can make it and we can have a blast. Maybe I can meet Mike A next time :)

As for DT, I think it's best for me to ignore him and not feed the troll. I don't want to be a part of any more negative energy around here . Any replies I've posted to him seem to really ruffle his feathers no matter how innocuous they are. It's best for everyone if I just do what I can to not reply in anyway directly to him. I wish more of his posts were like the ones in the fighting move book thread.

I have never been a cool kid, nor do I want to. However, if someone wants to lump me in with Nephasth, Yots, Haruman, Opt2Not, Vigo, etc I'm fine with that. I met you all in person and you are good guys. Vulcan brothers for life.  Is "NotThatJennifer" a Vulcan brother? She should be. Zapcon the Game: Malenko's frogger Level....the destroyer of dreams. Good times!

I can't figure out what exactly that other guy is opting not 2 do. Have an original thought?

Another round, my needy scamps? Or has this support group for cowards finally adjourned?

I have some friends who would agree with that statement, and some who would wholeheartedly disagree, I know to which ones I would take my stuff to be welded by :)

Hahahahaa for sure. Its just some welder humor :)

There was another joke with a pic that I just cant find where a welder was looking for a job. Job ad said the pay was 18-50 dollars an hour. Guy did their welder test twice. The first one had perfect seams and rock solid joints. The second one had blobs and scorch marks all over and the welds weren't very strong. Employer asked why he did the test twice and why the results were so different. He said the first one is $50 an hour and the second is $18.

DOH! Sorry man! I couldn't remember if it was you or VW or both and I didn't wanna guess wrong.  That bartender was the worst though , that I do remember. Well that and Ond saying my fake Australian accent was "not bad!"

Keep figuring it out, little fella. Personally I don’t know why the ---fudgesicle--- you’re here on this forum,  out of the <200 posts you’ve puked up here, maybe 5% of them are actually useful or relative to arcade gaming.
Then your feeble attempt to rattle active contributing members who A.have been here a long time actually helping members and sharing info, B. Are great people IRL who I’d be happy to be lumped in with being “the cool kids”.

You on the other hand must have been bullied in school by “the cool kids” and are now projecting some of that childhood trauma towards grown men in your adult life. I find it sad, and you have my pity, I  hope that one day you’re able to get over it and are able to lead a somewhat happy life, however many years you have left.

In the meantime, pitting against the community here only makes your attempts at martyrdom seem pathetic and lonely.

Are you lonely, Drake? I mean, we could be friends. You just gotta switch up this attitude of inducing anarchy here, and just come correct.

The only coward I see here is someone who blames others for their problems. I’ve met these guys in real life, they are awesome helpful, giving people that I’m happy to be friends with outside of this forum.

We don’t need your misguided attempt at rattling us up to give us “bonding time”, we’ve already done that IRL!

One of the few times you talk to me or about me like I'm not your plaything (yes, we all know it's all jokes, but I'll play mal's game for a minute) is when you're trying to bow out looking like you're taking the high road. You'll excuse me if I doubt your sincerity.

The one time you talk to me or about me like I'm a fellow human being (yes, we all know it's all jokes, but I'll play mal's game for a minute) is when you're trying to bow out looking like you're taking the high road. You'll excuse me if I doubt your sincerity.
That's your choice and I'm not going to exert any additional effort trying to convince you otherwise.
