Linux Super Resolutions
« on: May 21, 2018, 11:28:42 am »
I am using a PAL CRT TV, can a normal TV make use of super resolutions?

I am running Linux, GroovyMame and SwitchRes, what do I need to configure to activate super resolutions? specific Xorg modelines? or can they be configured directly with SwitchRes?

Just set "resolution 2560x0" in mame.ini. It will work on any CRT TV.
Important note: posts reporting GM issues without a log will be IGNORED.
Steps to create a log:
 - From command line, run: groovymame.exe -v romname >romname.txt
 - Attach resulting romname.txt file to your post, instead of pasting it.
