Guess I'll just keep being a jerk.
I ordered some repro tall and short aluminum cones for $3 each. Linking to the vendor would violate forum rules since they sell multi-boards.
Too impatient to wait for it to come in to figure out the thread size, so off to lowes to pick up one of these which supposed to screw right in per another post on BYOAC.
https://www.lowes.com/pd/SERVALITE-Black-Light-Switch/50107290Bit pricey, but will be useful in figuring out specs for illuminated switches.
Nephasth, would you be willing to dig out your buttons and calipers to give me the diameter of the original plunger?
Edit: corrected link. Original one was for a "normally on" switch.
Threads of switch are M12x1.25
I kind of doubt the originals were metric. OP in the other thread probably forced it into 1/2" threads.
