Driving Party/GTi Club 2 & Other Konami Viper games in MAME

Does anyone know if the Konami Viper drivers in MAME are being worked on anymore? My second Driving Party/GTi Club 2 PCB has broken, and it would be great to play the game again.

There was quite a lot of progress several years ago, but then nothing:



It's an excellent game but the original hardware seems to develop faults easily.
