General Cocktail Cabinet Questions

I'm building a cocktail cabinet and I'm going to use some of my left over computer speakers in the cabinet.  I need help finding some speaker grills to cover them.  I don't care about the size of the grill, just that it looks nice.  If I have extra room underneath the grill, I'll just put in a small vent hole as well.  If I could find ones similar to the old Ms. Pacman cabinet ones that would be great.

Also, right now I'm planning on using a left over 17inch monitor.  Any ideas on a bezel for that size or ideas on how to make one?  I know I should use a 19inch monitor, but until I can find one for under say $80 with shipping I'll have to suffice with the 17in.

Thanks in advance for any help,
Jonny

Many cocktails didn't have visible speaker grills and simply pointed the speaker out the bottom. All 3 I have owned have been that way.

All the Midway cabinets I've worked with had speaker grills on them. Bob Roberts sells speaker grills.

In reference to the monitors you should be able to find one locally for less than 80.  I got mine for just under 60 via ebay it look me about 2 weeks to find a decent deal on it.

For the bezel you could just use some tinted plexi or glass and then use that thick cardstock stuff painted black and cut just to the edge of the monitor with the tint you shouldn't be able to see it at all and it should look great.  Also you could take the plastic housing off of the monitor and paint that black too you shouldnt need to worry about electric shock becuase there is a metal cage keeping you from touching the wires under the plastic.

As for speaker grills I'm just putting air conditioning vents that have been painted black and putting the speaker behind that.  Hopefully it will look alright.

http://www.arcadeshop.com sells Midway-style speaker grills for $9.  I bought a few of them - they look good on my cocktail cabinet.
