The big perfect frontend quest
« on: May 04, 2018, 08:12:08 pm »
Hi all, I'm looking for the right frontend ... too many choices as usual.

It will go into a a couple of Groovymame-powered Mamecabs, one vertical one horizontal, with joystick + buttons layouts.

So, it should:

- run fullscreen
- be light on resources
- look good on low 15khz CRT resolutions, both horizontal and vertical
- support switching between different gamelists (I'm liking Lightspeed Mamelister to generate them so far), each with its own mame.ini to reconfigure the controls for each
- be simple, almost barebones, (no hyperspin-like bling), quick to navigate with just joy + buttons
- MAME-only for now, no need for other emus ATM

Any tips? TIA
