Toronto Maple Leafs Pedestal
« on: May 21, 2018, 02:11:58 pm »
This is the current state of my Toronto Maple Leafs Pedestal, it has custom artwork to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the franchise! (Which incidentally is the same year I finally got my cabinet)

The cabinet with artwork was put together by Gameroom Designs Canada (which is now closed down unfortunately)

I was initially planning on having twin spinners in the 2 remaining button holes on my Control Panel, but now I’m considering having one spot as a dedicated 4-way joystick...what are everyone’s thoughts on options for these remaining spots?

Everything is accented with LEDs...buttons, joysticks, trackball...even the extra cooling fans on the sides are lit up!

I’m open to any opinions for improvements or modifications (please refrain from any LEAFS HATE lol)

Put a couple of spinners with hockey puck knobs in those holes.

Sad to hear about Gameroom Designs.  Guess his igloo melted.

+1 for spinners.

For 4-way you can install a ServoStik or something on the 1P and 2P controls.

I had a friend mention making the spinners knobs look like hockey pucks
The standard knob on the Turbo Twist Spinner from GGG would probably do the trick

I was originally thinking of going with silver knobs to match the chrome trim

These are the other alternatives for both black and silver, but my friend says they look like they will be dust traps

One more question I would like to put out to the community is, are the steering wheel attachments for the spinners useful or effective?...are they worth it for games like super sprint/super off road?...or are they just pointless or inconvenient to switch out?
