Game Name : Pandora's Palace
ROM Name  = pandoras

Settings:
   Lives - 3, Difficulty - Normal, Bonus life at 20K and every 60K. 

Controls:   
    4 way joystick, jump button





A Roman character, dressed in a white robe with a olive leaf head ornament, proceeds from the top left of the screen to the bottom right by climbing down poles and riding moving platforms. Bad guys may push the player character into fires or over the edge if they are not avoided.
Eating grapes gives you the ability to kill bad guys by jumping on them.

Wiki/KLOV: Both useless.

Scoring tips:

- You get higher scores depending on where you hit the baddies. Jumping on top of the skulls nets you 1500 points.

- If you let the timer count down to 6000, a green skull appears. Kill it and score 5000 points. This works in the first 2 levels, I assume that it works in all levels.

- In level 2 a green frog appears if you jump into a certain spot. It's worth 5000 points, you get them automatically when it shows up. On the 3rd moving platform, jump to the left and try to hit a certain stone.

I won't link to my video, I'm sure you guys will find it.  It's not useful, I suck at this game.

Would love to hear strategies though...

Other than that, I just run through and try to hit the baddies perfectly.

Huh, I haven't logged on here in probably 3 years and last time I took part in one of these, I think Yamatetsu won that too   Then again, I also still haven't built the cab I was planning, so the more things change...

Anyway.  I suck at this game.  And it's so...  arcane.  Stuff just seems to like, happen.  Like OH THERE'S A DRAGON, now a bird is picking me up, wait, is that a money bag walking across the stage?  Cool.  FROG!

To get an extra life in stage 1, jump to the platform on the right using the shrinking/extending platform. A bird carrying an extra life appears, you have to jump into your alter ego without hitting the bird to collect it.




You have to jump into this part of the wall to get the frog. 5,000 points will automatically be added.




You have to jump onto this platform WHILE IT'S STILL RISING to get the money bag. It's worth 5,000 points and totally not worth dying for. Don't bother.




You have to jump into this part of the wall to get the dragon. 10,000 points will automatically be added.



Collecting the bonus items (minus the cash bag) and killing the green skulls in the first two stages should make getting 100k easy.

Thank you sir! Money bag was a new one to me, I had no idea how that kept happening!  Mr. Dagron will happen regularly.  I did crack 100k, but not quite satisfied yet with my numbers.  You're still gonna win by a lot.

Sheesh only 2 scores, I guess I should have posted. I wasn't able to get a very high score in this one, although I must admit I haven't had much time lately to practice. I did enjoy playing the game though and will play it again. Guess I should have posted anyway, I could would have come in third by default. Looking forward to seeing what the next game is.
