I'd say it's a joke given this is April.  Funny you should mention the virtual boy though..... stay tuned.

I've always been a little surprised Nintendo didn't release the Virtual Boy games on 3DS.  I mean, besides the fact they're all crap, but still.

Yeah it's made a cameo in a few games, most notably the miitomo app. 

Actually the virtual boy games are all pretty good.  Some of them feel more like tech demos but they were launch titles, so what do you expect?

I stuck my head in one of those on a stand at KB Toys, played wario and tennis for like 30 seconds, said it was stupid, and moved on. I never forgot it, only because it sucked so bad. And I still can’t get over how N64 was a good system with a controller that looks like some sort of weird @ss dildo.
