  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
Hi All,

Firstly, apologies but i am a noob at wiring so i will likely ask simple questions. Long story short, i nought an old Megatouch Force quiz machine which did not work (which i knew) so i have taken all the parts out and fitted an old PC. My issue is that i need to wire in the 3M touch screen controller and the audio amplifier in to the PC wiring but i have no idea how to do this!

Any help is appreciated! I can upload pics if needed but i have googled it to death but dont seem to find the information i want

Thanks,
Gareth

  • I have a gaming addiction.....
Some pics of what you have and what you want to connect will help.

So the first set of pics is the touch screen controller, the 2 wires and the PC. These pics are for the amp which needs a 12v supply

Thanks

you could skip the amp and just use PC speakers, but if you want to power the amp just get a MOLEX splitter and tap the yellow for +12V and the Black as ground.
If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

Thank you. Stupid question alert.....i get the splitter, should have some from old PC units but how do I then wire the splitter to the amps 2 wires (which I assume are live and earth)

I have considered the PC speakers and even tried them but the quality isn't great and I'm doing all this on a budget of what I own already! My main issue is the touch screen controller wiring, if I can't get that to work the project is a bust!

Thanks

you cut the end off one of the splits, yellow is your "live" +12V and black is your ground. Its not an Earth ground, just a ground.
