Hi,

I couldn't find any answer for this specific topic, so I'll ask directly. In my quest to fix my supersonic fast 2018 install (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,130667.msg1649528.html#msg1649528) I used another graphic card. But as the new one is working on VGA-0 instead of DVI-1 and I don't  get any picture.

I edited /etc/X11/xorg.conf and changed the value, but it doesn't work. Which I guess makes sense, X11 is not running a start. Anyway, can someone tell me how I can change the active port?

Thanks

Hi,

I reply to myself as I found the answer after a long grep on the whole drive. I'll put the answer here in case someone else stumble on this in the future. You need to edit
Code: [Select]
/boot/syslinux/syslinux.cfgI don't know why but I couldn't see this file (or the content of the whole /boot folder for that matter) with the LiveCD, I had to swap the monitor with an LCD one.

Anyway, case closed for this one. ;D

Basically, redo your video configuration from gasetup.
Important note: posts reporting GM issues without a log will be IGNORED.
Steps to create a log:
 - From command line, run: groovymame.exe -v romname >romname.txt
 - Attach resulting romname.txt file to your post, instead of pasting it.
