Mike A:
My mom would dump me off at the mall arcade while she shopped. I was short for my age so I needed a stool to reach the controls. The mall was near Naval Station Great Lakes. There were always Navy guys and girls there. I remember the white uniforms and the white hats. When I ran out of tokens one of the navy guys would escort me to to find my mom and ask for a couple bucks more. I remember at least one time a couple guys came with me and they were really playing it up. They said we were on a mission. We were ducking behind garbage cans and hiding behind pylons. Good Times. |

Reminds me of the arcade in the mall at Owensboro, Ky. (Around 1988 I think) Used to take my 5 yr old son there on the weekends. Fed a bunch of quarters to a Simpsons 4 player game. We just had to beat it, and we finally did, but I have no idea how much money I spent on it. Probably really dont want to know. |
