A few questions about my new GroovyMAME PVM setup
« on: April 07, 2018, 12:18:06 pm »
Hi all, I just recently purchased a PVM and configured a PC for GroovyMAME. I had some bumps in the road but I am most of the way there. I just had a few things I wanted to clear up. Biggest one being the video information that the PVM displays. When I run a game, the switchres information in MAME shows that GroovyMAME is doing it's thing with super resolutions/refresh rate to match the original game, however, the PVM displays 480/60i. Is this normal or should it say 240/60p?

I also set up a few Retroarch systems where I have Display Changer configured to set the resolution to 320x240 as a pre-launch script and the same thing happens where the monitor displays 480/60i but I can see that the resolution for the PVM is correctly set to 320x240 in Windows 7.

Displays a super resolution on my k7000, so I’d say it’s probably normal.

It's normal, my BVM says the same, 480i 60. Even with a original console connected to it in 240p
