Removing laminate
« on: April 03, 2018, 07:55:50 am »
I have some artwork I purchased quite some time ago.
It was printed on vinyl, that is about all I can tell you.
The artwork started to have these ripples on it.
I reached out to the printer (a great local source) who explained to me the laminate was separating from the artwork. He quickly replaced the artwork for me.

On the control panel I was able to pull off the laminate and wipe away and glue/film that was left.
The rest however it was a little more difficult. I don't need the artwork, I was just messing around.
However now I think I have found a use for it.

I'm wondering if perhaps a little heat, a blow dryer set to low may help in the removal (and not damage the art). ?

Any tips or tricks I can use to attempt and remove the laminate ?

I can try to post some images tonight.

Thanks all
