RESOLVED: Megatouch Ion - Coin Jam Error

I have an Ion that will show a "Coin Jam" on boot every time.

I've disconnect the harness and it doesn't change the behavior. Is there anything I can do or is the only option to replace the I/O board?

Are you sure you have the right jumpers set? Disconnecting the harness wont get rid of the coin jam. You need to determine which coin mech you have and set the right jumpers.

Right now, there are no coin mechs in the unit at all. So, I'm not quite sure what to set.

Resolved

I put jumpers on JP1, JP7 & JP8 and now it is no longer complaining.

I deleted the DBA and coin mech on a unit and rebooted into the Coin Jam error.  Putting a jumper on JP8 solved the issue thanks to your post.  There were already jumpers on JP1 and JP7.
