That's something you learn when participating in the high score challenge: After having played a game intensely for two weeks, chances are good that you won't like it anymore after that.

You are correct although I have to say Robotron had the opposite effect.  That was a fun one.

Same here. Robotron is a nice challenge. The overwhelming majority of games that I played in the compo I'm so fed up with that I won't play them again.

I owned a Frogger for awhile.  Novelty wore off in 15 minutes. 

After I owned that, I decided I'd never own a dedicated single game cabinet again.
