Rowe R85
« on: March 23, 2018, 05:38:19 pm »
Hi I'm working on a friends Rowe R85 with a 601-07438 125 watt amp in it with a 6-08552-01 pre amp board.  The amp has 1 channel out and I think it is in the preamp board so I removed to look at it and there is a light bulb looking thing hanging by one wire. I never have seen anything like this and can not find it in the book I have. can anyone tell me where I can get replacements.
Thank You for your time.

Dave

Hello Dave,

The lamp is a pre amp lamp, if the wires have rotted off (it happens on the original lamps) the result is that that channel has no volume.

If you can not get any, I do have a small stcock of them. Send me a PM for details of how to contact me in the UK

Regards
Alan
