Laptop touchpad in MAME?
« on: June 07, 2018, 12:12:29 pm »
I can't get MAME32 to respond to my laptop touchpad.  Mouse controls work fine with an external mouse.  I apparently suck at Google.  Is there a setting that's going to get a touchpad working in MAME?

You might try disabling the multi-mouse setting if it is enabled.

With multi-mouse enabled, MAME uses raw input data which might be different for a touchpad.
With it disabled, MAME uses mouse pointer data after it has been processed by windows.

At least that's the way it worked in the olden days.

No luck.  This thing also has a touchscreen that MAME won't recognize.
