Rowe Ami R-91 transfer arm problem
« on: February 26, 2018, 11:24:50 pm »
I’m having a problem with the transfer arm getting stuck between picking up the record and playing it on the turn table. I can’t even do it manually, it gets stuck in between the rotator assembly and won’t move unless I turn it off and then I can bring the arm back to normal. It seems like the arm is moving to far forward every time and getting stuck any tips how to fix or adjust this?

Hello bluefish628,

I assume that you are saying that the gripper bow does not turn to the left or the right and becomes stuck on the turntable!

You need to strip down the gripper bow assembly and check on the plastic moulding of the gripper bow arm there is two small pips on each side of the moulding if these are worn or damaged the index solenoids do not have anything to turn over the arm.
