Can't remember what BS I pulled for these, but it turned out my ancient Weber Genesis had been missing two racks. Guess that's what you get when you browbeat the price down at an estate sale. Anyway, the cooking area on it is huge, so it wasn't too big a deal to cut off a burner and move stuff off to the side, but my grilling game has instantly leveled up. Coke flaps were redeemed yesterday for a desoldering iron. I'm going to yank off the squeeze bulb and rig it to a shop vac. Details soon... :cheers: |

"yank the bulb and rig shop vac".... I would be wondering if that would work, Seems the startup of the vac would cool the solder, unless you possibly used a diverter, Anyhow quite curious to see that. :o |

Worked for this guy... I plan on rigging an arcade pushbutton to my shopvac and making a foot switch. It won't be running continuously. |
