Courtesy of Coca Cola and their Christmas Amazon gift cards that finally arrived...

Old and busted, note that the middle burner is rusted off at the end, the cross bar burner has completely broken in two:

New hotness:

Beauty of a $100 Weber estate sale purchase is you can basically replace everything.

Did mess up when I chiseled off the old retaining washers.  Should have pried them up just enough to slide the old burners out, put the new ones in, and hammer them flat again.  But, hey, it was easily fixed with a quick trip to Harbor Freight and doubling up 2 e-clips.  And I only busted one drill bit trying to get the old bolts out!

Now my grill isn’t a flame thrower setting brisket on fire.

Coke doing another $5 Target gift card.  Log into their rewards and put in a cap code for, "UNLOCK A SURPRISE WITH
AN ICE-COLD COKE."  The surprise is a $5 card.

I'll give it another shot thanks.  Even though the online help for Target told me to go to a store and they could combine gift cards for me, my local target couldn't figure out how to do it.

I ended up getting this Atari Art Book:

Art of Atari Poster Collection

And the Resident Evil Revelations collection, for the Switch.... these are games I never got around to back in the day.

40 bucks in gift cards + an extra $15 due to shipping charges and the $20 limit.  Still not terrible.

Our Target is a virtual ghost town due to it's location, so I think I'll start banking these for game discounts.

Probably gonna snag a handheld Oregon Trail with my next batch of cards....

Those are pretty cool aren't they.  I saw a review... the dude complains that it's a pain in the butt to do the hunting sections, but as I remember it, that's kind of how it was on the computers back in the day..... having eight separate keys for each direction.

It might be worth it to print out a true Apple II/Mac Classic shell for one of those.

Btw... the contest doesn't seem to care if the accounts are new for this one, so now would be the time to open a bunch of accounts via mail.com addresses.  I think I'll go ahead an do 20, so when they do the $5 gift cards that's enough to get $100.   Not so useful for target, but it'd be great for amazon cards.... that's enough for an everdrive and some change.  ;)
