To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women!

To troll your enemies, to see them butthurt before you, and to hear the rustling of their jimmies!

Yeah, but now Captain N and Chaddles are gone and I don't get my daily fix of fantasy.

Well, it WAS kind of a rude nickname for the greatest man that has ever lived in ever, ever.

Well slow but sure. I sourced a Vanguard bezel, control panel, working PCB, and marquee. :applaud:

It looks like I will have to get started building a few Centuri cabinets. I also finally have a Time Pilot CP on the way. Add to that the Phoenix CP Delusional sent me. I am going to be busy.

Well this weekend I did some actual work. I stripped down the damaged sides of my Krazy Bowl cab. I need to source some laminate that is a similar finish. Once I apply the laminate I can put that cab back together. Counting the cabs I pick up this weekend, I will have 5 Centuri cabs in various states of disrepair. I am piling up all of this work at just the right time. Summer is winding down soon.

Awhile back I bought a working Krazy Bowl for 50 bucks at a pawn shop.

It was in a Centuri cab and I want a Time Pilot so that would put me part way there since I happen to have a working Time Pilot PCB.

I decided to take the cab apart and template it so I could build another.

While taking it apart I found a tiny clue as to what this cab was born as. A small piece of the original artwork under one of the bolts.

It looks like it was a Vanguard according to my brief detective work.

So now I am planning on templating this cab, and then restoring it to its former glory as a Vanguard cab.

Always loved VG. I would suggest not using the buttons for the directional fire. Install a second joy stick for that. I did that for the arcade I managed and it was well liked and increased revenue, for a while, but we still had the diehard players.
