So is Midway back in business??!??

Yeah so I saw a video review of this guy:

https://www.ebay.com/i/282814747381?chn=ps

No big deal, but note the logo in the upper left corner.  It's the Midway logo circa 2000 and it says Midway Classic Arcade.  WTF?  Now I know that Midway was parceled out with different properties going to different companies when it went under, but it was my understanding that the Midway brand itself was defunct.  Even if it's someone that just bought the rights, why would they use the midway logo that was only used a few years instead of the classic one?  What does this mean for the upcoming Rampage movie?

Its so odd how the company was sectioned off but the gist is HAPP bought all the hardware and rights to it; and WB bought all the software and rights to it (I'm GREATLY over simplifying)

If you look at the back of that box, you'll see a WB logo.

I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

You are right, I completely missed that logo.  It still seems strange to me though, the decision to not only use a midway logo but the modern one.  You would think if they wanted to keep the midway brand alive they would slap it on their most successful purchase out of the buyout... Mortal Kombat.  I guess this is just some kind of half-assed attempt to appeal to our nostalgia.

Glad to see the classic Malenko avatar btw.... almost makes me want to bust out the old "here's johnny" pic.

Yeap, I like the old Midway logo better to boot!

Yeah this is my fave avatar, I usually go with Akuma or the Ten symbol cause he's the worlds most power ginger! You with Shang Tsung just feels right.
