I think she like you Yots.
Of course I do, From humble beginnings, to the awesome you see today,....I know what he up against(multiple game on a timeline), I know the frustration of success, I know what hes capable of doing, I know I wont sleep until that last pic comes over the wire and I also know hes not trashing some old game I found, But needing some of Jenns horrible mouth to drive this to the finish line....Yes I would fall on the sword for a friend.

Hey howard, I was cruising my FB feed the other day, oh must have been on Sundayish and I saw somebody post a video of their FiFjr build on Carolina Arcade page...all confused to ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- about what the game was doing. Must have been because of Easter ;) I lol'd and thought of you.

Got the black parts of the Dynamo painted. Some of the restoration masters whose advice I respect have taught me to use a dark primer when painting dark colors on the cabinet to really make the dark parts deeper. White paint or a lighter primer tends to poke through.

Never heard the term "restoration masters" before but regardless they were not wrong, Personally I use a clear interlocked and no primer but that's just old habits....Love the lights late into the night, Go Yots Go!  :applaud:

Listen, I've gotta have my fun too.  Some of my older front-ends used to snow on Christmas and became "possessed"  on Halloween.  Good times.

I have a Naomi with a Netdimm that I’m not using yet. Want to make a multiracer, but not sure if I have the right cables.

All you need is a JVS IO board, I'd suggest the Sega IO , ver 2 or 3.  With a NetDimm that'd get you Crazy Taxi, Jambo Safari, F355,  Faster Than Speed, and Maximum Speed. 18 Wheeler wont work it either has a funny wheel or weird gear pinouts.

If you upgrade your Naomi1 to a Naomi 2, then you can add Initial D 1,2,3 and Club Kart. Though all 4 of those really require the card reader to fully enjoy.

There are analog pins on the Sega IO, you just feed the pots from the wheel/pedals to those IO pins.

I have the JAMMA I/O board.

Which one? Sega and Capcom both have JVS to JAMMA adapters (as do Namco and others) Both the Sega and Capcom IOs have 20 pin analog connectors.
Maybe that's what you mean by "analog cable"

this one does.
The Pengo unfortunately does not.
I will fix that. I plan on upgrading the Pengo to a LCD and a Pandoras Box soon.
I also want to build a six player control panel to bolt to the front of it.

Why an LCD? is the monitor broken? Open Pandora outputs 15Hz and can even play console games (@15Hz). Its also kinda neat it'll barn door vertical games

Because LCD's are better. I figure I will mount it horizontally. There aren't any vertical 6 player games. Is 37 buttons per player enough? I know players 3,4,5, and 6 probably only need 26 buttons each so I can save some money there. I will need the extra cash for the power supply required to light up all 189 buttons.

I know players 3,4,5, and 6 probably only need 26 buttons each so I can save some money there. I will need the extra cash for the power supply required to light up all 189 buttons.
No fishtank? go pound sand you ---smurfing--- pleb.

What do you think this is? Amateur hour? My 150 gallon fish tank is on the right edge of this picture. I have 4 adult koi. It is going to be a tight fit, but I think I can make it work. I didn't think I had to mention the fish tank. It is just assumed in a standard arcade build.

I thought you were all about INNOVATION a fish tank in a cab some "been there done that" entry level rookie ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---. I thought you were going to have fishtanks in both cabs, and some sort of tube for the fish to swim back and forth between the candy and the pengo, LED lit of course!

With that out of the way, I really like the OK baby cabs and would love to own one.

I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

I didn't realize the Pandora's boxes would output 15khz.... cool beans.  They keep lowering the price on those all-in-one control panels and I'll end up being one of those idgits that "just buys it".  Kind of sucks that our hobby has morphed into a marketable product.

Kind of sucks that our hobby has morphed into a marketable product.

Everything about this hobby is a marketable product... Joysticks, buttons, random ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- nobody really needs. Hell, the ---smurfing--- games were made as marketable products... Consumerism...
