Your feelings should be mixed. The hobby obviously isn't going to die thanks to this infusion of new blood, but then again the quality of some of this stuff is so poor that it might give newcomers bad impressions of the classics. All I know is dollar general and all the other "dollar" brand stores are going to have some of the newer hdmi atgames ataris and genesis for around 30 bucks so long live the era of disposable crap. :) |

Made me feel like the hobby has jumped the shark, to be honest. Those TV joysticks didn't help matters, the 99 cent apps on our phones made it worse, and now I see a shelf of stuff like that and wonder, "what's the point?" Nobody is buying any of that crap, either. Contemplating driving down to Galveston and throwing my latest project off the bridge. |
