2018 Chuff thread - is it chuffy in here? |

Le Chuck:
It was a degree here yesterday. One. Lousey. Stinkin. Degree. BUT This is the Chuff thread, and I got in a bomb-ass workout with my buddy and finished off some projects related to keeping pipes from freezing in this mostly permeable army house - so chuff-on! |

Hey now, it was 31 when I was driving around earlier. One car had slid around and smashed into the barriers on a bridge. Someone else added insult to injury and apparently tore off their front end driving around them. Major road at noon. No owners, police cars, or tow truck in sight. I was grateful I drive a small car. And you’re laughing now, but how many kids and old people die in your town when it gets above 95? >:D |

-17 (no windchill) yesterday morning here, it will be +49 today. For those in the south, this weather means emergency travel only, stocking up on bottled water, calling friends to make sure their heat worked and they didn't freeze to death, etc. For us "northerners" it means we should wear our "big coat". |

If anyone wants to know what Michigan weather is like just Google 'Michigan weather meme'. This one is my favorite... To my knowledge no one has died of heat related issues in Michigan over the past year. Could be wrong. On a side note I thought The Day After Tomorrow was a documentary about Michigan weather until I saw Dennis Quaid starring in it. |
