Found this wee beauty in a garage sale in New Zealand. Plugged in lights came on and motor sound hoping we can get it running.

More than likely the following board will need some work on them:-

Memory Unit 301-07855 (on the right hand side of the mechanism)

Mechanism Control 401-06905 (on the left hand side of the mechanism)

Selector Logic 601-08060 (on the right hand side of the cabinet)

I have never come across a R-82 or R-83 where the mid range speaker (on the drop down keyboard/display panel) foam surround has not perished, we do provide a replacement service.

The Standard amplifier should be the 125 watt version 6-07438-01
Because the amplifier has an inversed output on one side of the amplifier the cartridge is wired in phase.

If you want advice by all means get in touch.

Alan

Thanks Alan, we need to source an old .50c piece or work out how to do free credit if thats possible. Lots of surface rust inside but working slowly getting rid of cobwebs and cleaning it up first.

On the Selector logic is a Normal/Test switch, if Test is selected then the jukebox is on free play.

Hi Alan, we will be needing one of the cogs a couple teeth have broken. Not sure of exact name but will find and let you know. Maybe a pinion plate R83 mech assembly. Is this something you can supply if needed

Hello Jaynine,

We have most the parts old new stock or in good second hand condition, so we can sort out your requirements.

Have a look at the speaker (mid range) lift the catch and drop down the keyboard/display panel, this speaker is the only one on the jukebox that has a foam surround speaker fitted, I have yet to find a jukebox (R-82 or R-83) where this speaker does not have a perished surround, this speaker is across both channels.

I do sell the surrounds or replace the surround on your speaker.

Regards
Alan
