PS4 and XBox One to Naomi universal cabinet?

Hello!
I own a Sega Naomi universal cabinet and I am looking for a way to hook up either a Ps4 or an Xbox One.
I have had a JTAG xbox 360 connected now for a while and it s been working perfectly with the VGA cable on the 3-sync monitor of the Naomi.

Problem is the the XBOX one of the ps4 doesnt seem to have this alternative.

I bought a good adaptor, HDMI to VGA but there is no picture coming on the naomis CRT Monitor.

Any idea what to do?

I don't know much about adapters and whatnot but I am quite sure that the 360 can run at a non-hd resolution and the xbox one cannot. An adapter may convert the signal but if it can't dumb down the resolution to something the CRT can play then I don't think it's the right tool for the job.
