Pac-Man 35th Anniversary Bartop 12-in-1 Arcade

This project is inspired by similar builds done by processedmeat, ChanceKJ, and Locke141, without their photos & guidance this project wouldn't have been possible!

The goal is to build a really nice looking, easy to use, fun to play Bartop for under $300. If I had any skills on woodworking, I could probably do it for half that, but me & woodworking isn't going to happen for this project. I had to teach myself soldering for this project, and I can only learn one useful skill per year  . If this one turns out as well as I intend it, I will be making others for family (my sister has been asking me to build one for her kids).

Parts list:
1. Pac-Man 12-in-1 Plug & Play ~$17
2. GameRoomSolutions Bartop wood kit with camlock set + plexi ~$150
3. Monitor (already had, but would normally have costed approx. $20)
4. Speakers (also already had, therefore "free" to me) ~$15
5. Artwork (going to print off at Staples, I'll estimate $30)
6. Joystick/pushbuttons ~$20
7. Power strip & adapter ~$10
8. Power button ~$3
9. T-Molding ~$6
10. Yellow spray paint ~$10
Altogether: ~$281.

Now I am waiting on the power supply (to solder a power cord instead of having to use batteries), t-molding & the yellow buttons. I'll also be removing the monitor & temporary buttons & spray painting the entire thing yellow. I am about to fly out of the country for Christmas, so I will be finishing this project stateside when I return early January, but I thought I had enough so far to start a build thread.

Glad you found the yellow fever hybrid build helpful. I thought about switching it to a 60-in-1 or a R-pi, but my mom brings it to family Christmas every year (big family like 80-100 people) and it gets played by the kids all night, so I'm going to leave it as is.

All the wiring is done! Now I am waiting on some awesome graphics to come in, then I'll post the final result. Here's my 8 yr old nephew doing some quality control testing.
