Megatouch Ion - 2012 Software Install

Greetings,

I'm having an issue installing new 2012 software on my Ion. It gets to the screen that says by continuing you accept the terms, blah blah and stops. I've replaced the memory, used different drives and nothing seems to get past this state. Has anyone seen this before and been able to proceed? This is the first Ion I've have a problem upgrading the software on and I feel like I'm missing something simple.

can you confirm the touchscreen is working? if you look at the led on the controller can you see it get brighter when you press on it?

otherwise,

maybe you have a bad disk.
try a different CD rom drive.

I don't think the led on the controller is going to get brighter if he presses on it.
