Discharge or not?
« on: December 14, 2017, 03:02:44 pm »
I plan on removing my monitor from my arcade cabinet, taking everything out (tube, chassis) in one piece, just unscrewing the frame from the wood.  Is it necessary to discharge before disconnecting and removing, if I'm leaving all together in one piece still connected to the frame and not messing with the electronics?

Probably not, but it won't hurt.  Don't be scared.

you only have to discharge if you're removing the chassis from the tube.
If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.
