2 player cocktail project built from beer keg. Screen turns 90 degrees for vertical and horizontal games. Rasp Pi fitted inside the keg. Sony 19" monitor & cheapo £10 speakers.

When you say "turns" you physically turn it?

What monitor did you use?

I like how people are blown away by a keg with a Pi slapped on top of it with "cheapo" speakers and an LCD. People must really hate arcade games to come up with this stuff. This screams broCade. Holy crap I am cranky this morning.

I don't know, I think its sort of a cool build.  Probably fits the decor of the room better than a traditional midway style cocktail.  Nice work.

I think it is a cool non-traditional build.  The legs and rotating monitor are a nice touch.

So if you go into the MAME options, fire up a horizontal game on a vertical monitor, rotate the image in video settings, and select "Cocktail" mode, you know that you get two horizontal images on a vertical monitor, right?  Because I feel like this entire rotating screen nonsense was done because you didn't know that.  God help player 2 on your current set up.
